Documents and reports are prepared to contain certain data and information for further processing, record and analysis purpose. 

Document: A document is a container of multiple types of data to move it from one place to other place.

Report: Reports are prepared for analysis and information purpose. There can be multiple reports prepared on the basis of available information and as per requirement of the department, concerned departments and company management.
